Kung Fu Kids
Now there is finally a class for kids 8-13 years at House of Shapes in Stockholm. Here we will be training basic Martial Arts and Acrobatics while learning positive attitude. Kung Fu is about moral and respect but also health, training and Chinese culture. Make sure your kids are in this class!
Kung Fu Saturdays
Jakob Isaksson is one of the people behind the success ”Kung Fu Saturdays” that aims at creating a community in Stockholm to help expand the traditional Kung Fu scene. Last year had different workshops and classes. Sometimes collaborating and exchanging, sometimes trying out each others styles. Most popular was the Pigua Zhang classes with Matthias Sandström from Baji Stockholm.
Wudang Pai Sweden
Thanks to Jakob Isaksson and Simon Brunström who studied together in China, Wudang Pai is now in represented in Sweden. With in Wudang Pai you practice Taiji Quan, Xingyi Quan, Bagua Zhang, Taiyi Zhang and a lot more. Wudang Pai Sweden works to increase the knowledge with in the internal Martial Arts and educate teachers around in Sweden and Europe.
Swedish Kung Fu and Wushu Association
The Swedish Kung Fu and Wushu Association have now created a committee working to promote Traditional Kung Fu in Sweden. Under the lead of Jakob Isaksson they are now looking into competition rules and formats, workshop activities and cooperation’s. This is an interesting project that will create a big change on the field of Chinese Martial Arts in Sweden.
